The current Contributing.md file for the project has an issue where --user flag is used in a virtual env which raises "ERROR: Can not perform a '--user' install. User site-packages are not visible in this virtualenv" in addition to this although the document indicates that ClIENT_USERNAME is not the display name spotify uses it is unclear where a user can find this information.
