Describe the bug

After updating my Arch Linux system, spotify-player stopped working completely.
The application opens, but it does not load playlists, tracks, or any music at all. Everything appears empty or stuck loading, even though the application is fully configured and authenticated.

Before the system update, spotify-player was working perfectly with the same configuration.

To Reproduce

  1. Update the Arch Linux system (pacman -Syu)
  2. Launch spotify-player
  3. Log in / authenticate (already configured)
  4. Observe that no playlists or tracks load

Expected behaviour

spotify-player should load playlists, albums, and tracks normally, just like it did before the system update.

Environment

  • OS: Arch Linux
  • Kernel: 6.18.2-zen2-1-zen
  • Desktop / WM: Hyprland 0.52.2 (Wayland)
  • Application version: spotify-player (Arch package, latest after system update)
  • Application features: default (no custom cargo features)

Additional context

Nothing in the configuration was changed manually.
The issue started only after a full system update.
Rolling back configuration files did not fix the problem.

I'm having the same problem after updating the packages on Arch Linux.
