When I try to authenticate my spotify player from the terminal for the first time, it opens up the webpage and shows a blank white page with the text "Illegal Scope".

I have used spotify_player 3 times over the past few months, on Mint, Arch, and Pop OS. This time I'm trying to use it on Linux Mint again but I'm not able to authenticate it. No such error occurred the previous three times. I am using Firefox as my browser if that helps.

OS: Linux MInt
Application version: Latest

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using a different browser fixed the issue. I used Chromium browser to authenticate and was able to do it without any problem.
