Hello,
After update the package to the new version, when I run my scripts to get data from WhoScored, chrome explorer freeze and after 12-15 minutes the next message error appears:
Any help?! Thanks in advance...
@ds-oliver commented on GitHub (Aug 20, 2024):
This happening to me as well.
@ds-oliver commented on GitHub (Aug 21, 2024):
Any updates on this?
@probberechts commented on GitHub (Aug 23, 2024):
I cannot reproduce this. Make sure Chrome is up-to-date and that you have installed the latest version of undetected-chromedriver. If you still experience isssues after checking these things, it is better to look for help in the issue tracker of undetected-chromedriver.
@ds-oliver commented on GitHub (Aug 23, 2024):
Have tried all things from fresh chrome download, downgrading selenium/undetected-chromedriver, etc.
You're having no issue running ws.read_schedule() and ws.read_events() for current 2425 season?
@adlihs commented on GitHub (Aug 23, 2024):
@probberechts Mate, first of all thank you for time and help.
Mate I used the same script for the last 6 months, I just change the value for current season and update the version of the package.
And as @ds-oliver mentioned before I thing the issue is in ws.read_schedule() and ws.read_events() functions.
@ds-oliver commented on GitHub (Sep 17, 2024):
This is still occurring in a script that worked perfectly fine before.
Happens across all seasons and leagues.
@ds-oliver commented on GitHub (Sep 17, 2024):
It's a massive bummer. I was relying on these scripts for ongoing projects, and now I am completely dead in the water. I've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps.

I think they found out how to block undetected chrome driver
