Is there a new official version available yet?
Has a new name been solidified for the next version that will be in the PlayStore?
Does the beta version solve the issue with the scheduler (yet)?

I am using RCS with Google messages. Backup works. Just need to get the scheduler to work. Even basic scheduling of once or twice a day would be great. Doesn't have to be on every new message.

Instead of the built-in scheduler, why don't you use Tasker to schedule the backups? It works!

I'm trying to do it with Automate. I tried to broadcast to the package "com.zegoggles.smssync" with the action "BACKUP" but that didn't work. I made sure 3rd party integration was checked in Backup settings.

I'm not all that familiar with broadcasting messages. What should I set for each field?

nvm... This seems to work now (looking at SMS Backup logs). I think I needed old backup scheduled enabled. Idk for sure.
