Hi Jan & the rest of the SMSBackup+ team/helpers etc :-)
I was using the app on my last phone with the IMAP setup instructed by chwaze here:
https://lightrun.com/answers/jberkel-sms-backup-plus-g-suite-notice-about-sms-backup-becoming-restricted
However I lost my phone, & thus redownloaded the app to setup again on my replacement phone.

This above portion of the steps now appears to not be possible, as of June 2022 apparently?
Now instead simply displaying like this:
Thus it appears this highlighted step can't be actioned:

I'm trying to find the latest work around to get the app to work please? I really love using SMSBackup+
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Step by step help would be even better, if someone possibly feels like being amazing!
Thank you so much in advance, really really do appreciate it! 🌈

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm a muppet - Turns out whoever said that "App Passwords are no longer available from June 2022" doesn't actually appear to be correct. The only reason it seems I didn't have that function displayed, was because I didn't have 2-step verification on... So simply turning that on fixed the problem :-p
Thanks to those directing people here: https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/08/12/sms-backup-is-now-broken-due-to-gmails-api-changes-but-theres-a-workaround/ - That was how I sussed out my missing step.
Cheers for everyone that helps folk out online, you're helping more than just the vocal ones 🌹
