Currently SMS Backup+ supports XOAuth2 only for Gmail.
Given this has been useless for a while, how about adding support for Outlook.com?
They support XOAuth2 and it doesn't look like they have expensive and arbitrary security requirements similar to Google.
This will require an explicit choice of Outlook.com type as it is possible to have foo@gmail.com as Microsoft Account / Outlook.com login.
Also this would make the workaround from #1083 a bit more secure.
@ahotzler commented on GitHub (Oct 19, 2022):
Microsoft will stop basic auth at end of the year. The app can then no longer be used with Microsoft accounts, which I would find very sad.
