Expected behaviour

backups would continue to happen automatically
I'm sorry I don't have a log ("log is empty") though it is enabled

Actual behaviour

all automatic backups have stopped since upgrade to android 8.0.0

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

upgrade galaxy note 8 to android 8.0.0

Please specify the following:

Android version

8.0.0

Phone model / brand

galaxy note 8

SMS Backup+ version installed

1.5.11

Messaging app

textra.
