Expected behaviour

The Old version is OK. But, After Updated to 1.5.11 -> "Unable to Connect"

Unable to Connect

Android version: 8.1
Phone model / brand: OnePlus A500
SMS Backup+ version installed：1.5.11
Messaging app: Unable to Connect

Okay today i reinstalled this kit in 2018. Initially it did not work but said connect fail all the time. Then I tried authorising it to another gmail and it worked like to wooosh.

Then here is the trick if this update stopped working for you:

rename your labels (sms and call+log by default as created by this app) to something else, for example, sms-old and call log-old.
now do the backup on the app. it should re-create such labels as it did before.
on gmail switch to the renamed labels, i.e. sms-old and call log-old, select-select all, then click the move icon on the toolbar appeared. Then select and move all old conversations backed-up before to the newly created label. Everything will be merged perfectly.

Notice:
I also realise in this version the backup for call-logs by default is not selected. If you do need this feature like I do, go to advanced settings and enable this.

but it doesn't work still.
my phone is google pixel, using shadowsocks always.
i think i should install a old version.
