I just upgraded from an HTC One M9 to a Samsung Galaxy s9 running oreo. I have the beta version of SMS Backup plus. None of my outgoing messages, and none of the message strings of which my outgoing message started the string have been backed up. I am using the stock message program and gmail. I've used this app for years with no issues, as no have already attempted to uninstall and reinstall, emptied the cache, and disconnected and reconnected my gmail account. A fix for this issue would be nice. Thanks.

I have been trying to find the answer to this issue for weeks. Considering that I am a total idiot when it comes to this. I need the outgoing messages, my custody case depends on this and my time is running out can someone please talk in dummy terms for me. every thing is done correctly just not finding an answer???
@jcrben commented on GitHub (Apr 14, 2018):
NOTE: I can confirm I do NOT have this problem, using the beta with LG V20 and Pulse SMS https://messenger.klinkerapps.com/overview/
There's a couple related issues noted in the FAQ: https://github.com/jberkel/sms-backup-plus#faq-backup-only-received
In one of these cases https://github.com/jberkel/sms-backup-plus/issues/516#issuecomment-280100070 it had to do with an "Advanced Message" edge case
Since we can't reproduce the issue ourselves, anything that you can do to help is appreciated - could you create a gist of the log as instructed at https://github.com/jberkel/sms-backup-plus#i-want-to-file-a-bug-report-what-should-i-do
@nanna1967 commented on GitHub (Apr 14, 2018):
I am sorry but none of this makes ANY since to me. I have tried again and again. Getting really frustrating, and I can not afford to give up. Thank You

I appreciate the attempted in helping ,me. When I said I was an idiot I meant that I was an IDIOT. LOL this is not registering, I have gone through some of these URL's and I get nothing. Maybe there is another way to get my out going messages??
@jcrben commented on GitHub (Apr 14, 2018):
Which link doesn't work?
Can you find the log - assuming you're using version 1.5.11
Then:
To get these onto your computer, you'll have to set up a system to move files from the phone to the desktop such as https://www.airdroid.com/
@nanna1967 commented on GitHub (Apr 15, 2018):
Thank you that was easy. Can you explain why it still only displays the incoming and not the outgoing?? I am so ready to give up. Thank You for all of your help.
@jcrben commented on GitHub (Apr 15, 2018):
Can you post a link to the gist so that we can see the log? As I mentioned above, we can't reproduce this issue.
