Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Wouldn't it be better to back up SMS with From and To of the e-mail set to the corresponding values and the subject filled with the message itself? I can understand this might not work for MMS, but it would make reading a conversation thread much easier. gammu does it this way but does not work with Android.

Subject lines have length restrictions, so this wouldn't work for all messages

I wonder how gammu does it. I guess it just cut things off if they are too long and repeats the message in the body.
