I've migrated today to Lollipop again (Euphoria OS), but this time call logs couldn't be restored. Restore went without error, but there was a notice that there were 1344 duplicates. I checked on my imap server: that's the exact number of call logs. It's strange, because previously SMS Backup+ could successfully restore both messages and call logs, both on KitKat and Lollipop systems.
@pejakm commented on GitHub (Sep 26, 2015):
So I reset backup, delete all messages from my phone and try again, this time only call logs are restored, not messages. But only 711 out of 1344, others are reported as duplicate. Debug log is empty.
Edit: it appears that there really were duplicate call logs for some reason, so 711 is the actual number of call logs.
@pejakm commented on GitHub (Sep 26, 2015):
This is ridiculous: whatever I do, it keeps restoring only call logs, not messages.
@pejakm commented on GitHub (Sep 28, 2015):
I eventually managed to sync messages too by disabling call log restoration and to trigger the restore.
