I just received a new phone and tried to restore all the call logs and text messages. The Call logs are appearing on the new phone.The text messages only show the name of the
contact who sent the message, but there is nothing in the body of the text message.
@rtbuller commented on GitHub (Apr 14, 2014):
Same here; restored to android 4.4.2 (S5)
@sunshine730 commented on GitHub (Apr 14, 2014):
I still do not see the text message body.

Me 3. Can't figure it out on my 5. Someone help.

Tried restoring to new S5 today and nams come across but no messages. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm in the same boat as the above posts.
I've backed up to several new phones in the past work no problems, but yesterday I tried restoring the sms messages to the Samsung S5 and no success.
The text messages only show the name of the contact who sent the message, but there is nothing in the body of the text message.
What do I need to do?
From previous comments, it seems this may be an "out of the box" issue with the S5.
@sunshine730 commented on GitHub (Apr 20, 2014):
I agree with " it seems this may be an "out of the box" issue with the S5" because I have the same phone. I tried restoring the messages to my old android phone and it worked fine.
