Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/jberkel/sms-backup-plus/issues/440
Newly installed on jelly-bean (4.1.1). Backup seemed to run just fine and entries appeared in my Gmail account with SMS label. However, can only see the sms I sent, not any I received.
Help?
@kiwinewt commented on GitHub (Apr 9, 2014):
I also had this issue on KitKat. Was using a different SMS app, and was fixed by going back to the original.
Would love to be able to re-send the missed ones somehow.
@ronnieftw commented on GitHub (Sep 7, 2014):
This started happening to me in mid July. Not sure what changed.

I'm having this issue also. Realized my backups stopped working completely back in July. Tried reinstalling the app and kept getting IO errors. Installed beta version 1.5.6 last night and let it run. I just checked my gmail and for MMS i'm getting both sent and received backed up, but for SMS only sent messages are backed up, no received messages at all.... help!!! (Phone is LG G2 running Android 4.4.2)
@armst14 commented on GitHub (Dec 23, 2014):
Galaxy note 2 phone not backing up received messages. Worked fine on HTC one and loved being able to print out important conversations. Certain texts are still really important so can anyone make a suggestion as to how we can get this app to work on gn2?
@maryd06 commented on GitHub (Dec 29, 2014):
Same symptoms, Galaxy S5 on Verizon. Android 4.4.4. Uninstalled and re-installed. Did not fix.

Same symptoms, Galaxy Note3(SM-N9005). Android 4.4.2. Uninstalled and re-installed. Did not fix.

Tried this one on the note 2 ....seems to be working https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.studer.smssync&hl=en_GB just make sure when it asks you to back up that you do.DO NOT press skip.
@brj319 commented on GitHub (Mar 17, 2015):
I am having same problem on Note 4/Android 4.4.4 - Send all my sent SMS to GMail, but NONE of my received SMS.

@maryd06 commented on GitHub (Mar 17, 2015):
This is how I fixed it:
Open the app > Auto backup settings > Incoming schedule set to Never,
Regular schedule set to anything other than Never.
I think....

If this is still happening with 1.5.11, please open a new issue.
