Android 4.3 on Samsung galaxy S3.
Sms backup+ had been backing up great and with problem.
I had a network time problem and my phone for a day where the phone thought it was Feb 12, 2014 instead of the correct Dec 27, 2013. During this time SmS backup functioned properly.
The network time problem has been corrected, Hoevet SMS backup has stopped backing up. It thinks the last backup was on Feb 12, 2014 due to the network time error and isn't trying to back up new incoming sms.
I tried the settings/reset and it asked me to back up everything which I "skipped". After that the incorrect Feb 12, 2014 timestamp odd still being shown under the last backup time at the top of the app. I
Also tried uninstall/install butt that did not reset the last backup time either.
How can I clear the last backup time or what file is that fanned in so that I can
@jsscott2000 commented on GitHub (Dec 29, 2013):
How can I clear the last backup time or what file is that saved in so that I can Delete the file to reset the last backup time stamp. It seems SMS backup checks that time stamp before checking for new incoming Sms to back up as it isn't backing up any messages now due to the future "last backup" time stamp
@Didsbury commented on GitHub (Dec 31, 2013):
I have a similar problem. I have scheduled an SMS for tomorrow. It has backed this up, but not SMSs set up since the scheduled SMS.
Otherwise I have been a happy user for several years.
@Cbrine99 commented on GitHub (Mar 3, 2014):
I love SMS Backup+
However, I'm having the exact same problem as Didsbury. I schedule text messages weeks ahead of time and I am beginning to get very frustrated at this problem. Please create a fix for it or at the very least inform me of a way to fix it (other than reinstalling it, backing up every SMS and tediously removing duplicates via a method such as Mozilla Thunderbird)
@AliakseiT commented on GitHub (Aug 15, 2014):
Same problem. But I have to wait till August 2015 to have SMS Backup + working again :-)
