I downloaded the app last night and did the initial back up. It worked and backed up everything, but then this morning, it has a Login Error and says "XOAuth autorization error. Please make sure you enabled IMAP in your Gmail account settings."
I have not changed any setting since last night and I checked my gmail account. IMAP is still enabled. This is probably a Gmail issue, but I would love to get it figured out. Thanks!
@JON-MICHAEL1111 commented on GitHub (Jun 18, 2014):
i just got that same Login Error message and all my IMAP are enabled. Did you ever get a solution to this issue?
@JON-MICHAEL1111 commented on GitHub (Jun 24, 2014):
i uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it worked fine after that.
@wolfmagic commented on GitHub (Sep 26, 2014):
i get this same error when trying to do my initial backup after installing the app on android phone. its bogus because my gmail has been setup as imap for years. i just triple checked and i'm 100% sure all my gmail accounts have had the Status: IMAP is enabled for several years. so what is the hickup? do i also uninstall/reinstall the app?
@jberkel commented on GitHub (Nov 21, 2014):
@wolfmagic please try the beta: https://github.com/jberkel/sms-backup-plus#beta-testing
