My incoming SMS is not backing up
everything else does like outgoing SMS, whats app and call logs
Please help im using samsung Galaxy S4 Active
@Phoenix13 commented on GitHub (Oct 27, 2013):
I am having the same problem, my incoming SMSs are not being backed up and I also have a galaxy S4.
Even the one that were showing as backed up seem to have disappeared.
All outgoing messages are being backed up.
@lfortes commented on GitHub (Nov 4, 2013):
I have the exact same problem. My phone is a Galaxy Win Duos (dual sim).
@Phoenix13 commented on GitHub (Nov 4, 2013):
Why is no one trying to corrrct this problem? I have emailed j berkel twice but not received any reply. It's a ridiculous situation and the developer could at least acknowledge the problem!!!
@jberkel commented on GitHub (Nov 4, 2013):
it's a known problem (https://github.com/jberkel/sms-backup-plus/issues/329), haven't been able to reproduce it. you can help by posting a sync log (https://github.com/jberkel/sms-backup-plus#i-want-to-file-a-bug-report-what-should-i-do)
@zsalzbank commented on GitHub (Dec 30, 2013):
This is happening to me too: see gist @ https://gist.github.com/zsalzbank/8181511
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android 4.1.1 and 1.5.6-BETA
@kotmage commented on GitHub (Mar 11, 2014):
Hello... when I started to use your app, everything was ok... but now, i have the exact same problem... 99% sent MMS and 100% sent SMS now won't get backed up.
Since I installed SMS Backup + I was playing with SMS apps like GO and Handcent...finally i sticked with Samsungs integrated and GO combination. I tried uninstalling GO but it didn't have inmediate effect on the backup (didn't try restart between).
Here is my gist: https://gist.github.com/kotmage/8c125fd5bedd718375b4
Galasy S4 mini, 4.2.2
@jars23 commented on GitHub (May 8, 2014):
I have the same issue. Ever since I switched from a Samsung Galaxy Pocket with Gingerbread to a Samsung Galaxy Star and later a Samsung Galaxy Trend, both with SMS Backup+ 1.5.5 and both with Android 4.1.2, none of my incoming SMS were being backed up. (I back up my "Starred in Android" conversations).
Here are my gists for both phones:
Galaxy Star: https://gist.github.com/jars23/0bfa60cf722612c472ee
Galaxy Trend Lite: https://gist.github.com/jars23/46d7b7d3e53e2aba35ee
Details:
Samsung Galaxy Star, Android 4.1.2
Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite, Android 4.1.2
@brj319 commented on GitHub (Mar 17, 2015):
I am having same problem on Note 4/Android 4.4.4 - Send all my sent SMS to GMail, but NONE of my received SMS.

This from version 1.5.5 and latest stable is 1.5.10. Feel free to submit a new issue if the problem remains.
@jberkel feel free to change name of the stale label if you'd prefer something else
