Currently, when looking at Account activity in the Gmail web app, the activity from the SMS Backup+ app is logged as:

Authorized Application (anonymous)
OAuth Domain Name:
anonymous

I have not yet checked if it's possible, but it would be useful to have more specific information, e.g. naming the app specifically.
