I tried a hundred times. All my call-log is visible in gmail, backup works perfectly, but none restored. It doesn't give any errors, I'm just restoring all and I only get sms, none call log. Obviously all options for restoring call-log are on. I'm using a lot of different Androids, from 2.3.3 to 4.0.3, stocks and customs on my HTC Sensation XE and Desire S.

I'm having the same issue as Rosak. Everything looks to be backing up correctly, but the call logs will not restore. I'm running stock 4.1.1 on a Galaxy Nexus.

Yup, me too. No failures and no bad notifications just perfectly restored SMS but no call log. Am using a Sensation and loads of different Roms.

Did you guys turn on the option to restore the call log in the settings? It is unchecked by default.

Yeah, tried that - but I have found that if I turn off SMS restore and leave only call log enabled, then do a manual restore I get the call log restored. Reverse the process and repeat for the SMS and they come back too. Then return to default settings for day to day. Its a workaround, but at least it works for me...

I want to comment that markisparkl's suugestion has also worked for me, where I wasn't getting calls restored previously.
