I have a Samsung Captivate running 2.1 and the auto backup does not work consistently. Sometimes it works great for days, then stops working. I reboot the phone, run the manual update. I do not have any task killers. Any help would be great. Thanks/

the app is installed on phone memory. The sync log doesn't provide any insight. Even when i reboot the phone the app doesnt kickoff a backup even after receiving a text.

It's not working on my HTC Desire either !
What's this sync log you talk about ?
I can do it manually ok, it's just that I have to remember and I've not got the best memory... :(

Same here. Desire Z. Login to Gmail is fine and manual backup as well. I love the way the App is handling the backups. However, I have to triger it manually. Automatic would be cool. Thanx!

Same problem since I installed "GO SMS Pro". SMS Backup+ is installed on phone memory on SGS Android 2.3.
I set automatic backup on wifi every 6 hours. But doesn't work also with automatic backup every 6 hours and trigged by receving sms after 3h.
Manual backup works perfectly.

I have the same issue. Using galaxy s2. Also have Go SMS Pro installed with it's back up to cloud option. Not sure whether the app is installed on the phone or the SD card. Manual back up works fine, but autobackup doesn't seem to be.
