The bookmarklet works fine... But...
I've seen in the commits that it has been implemented.
Once I got the latest version, I start looking where it was in the interface, and didn't find it at all.
I had to:
to finally find how to use it.
For anyone else finding this issue and wanting to use bookmarklet:
You just need to drag'n'drop the "add new bookmark" (icon "+") in the left bar as it also is a bookmarklet link.
I think that link is "clever" but hard to find. Perhaps, adding an explicit "Bookmarklet link" in the configuration tooltip would be easier to find for someone looking for that, as most bookmark sites using bookmarklet use that kind of feature (bookmarklet link in configuration settings). It would "another way to add the bookmarklet" and not a replacement for the current "clever" bookmarklet link.

In the latest commit (
8510198), I've put the bookmarklet link to about dialog :@gissehel commented on GitHub (Jun 16, 2018):
Ok, I confirm that works.
