Its been dead ever since the original owner left. I am not a developer, but would be happy to help with 'security' if someone else wants to clone and resume it someplace else. I just use a rust bookmark cli thing now.

I suck at go, but am pretty good with docker/non crappy builds. We had some really nice docker submissions that never got merged.

I forked a project and made a smaller version of the mirror, about 6mb, try:

docker pull soulteary/shiori

How have you archived this?
it's like 6mb from 600mb, impressive!

docker pull soulteary/shiori

Amazing work, there are 2 things I would like to point out after trying your fork:

  1. User cannot migrate from exisiting shiori deployment without manually running chown -R 1000 /srv/shiori/ first otherwise the sqlite DB will fail to connect due to file being inaccessible.
  2. I noticed you make the bookmark processing logic async in github.com/soulteary/shiori@527f3cf1ef which is great, however UI lack corresponding indiator(dialog close immediately and nothing happens afterwards until a manual refresh) it could be a little confusing.

Cheers and thank you for your amazing work.

Thank you for your suggestions. Both of these points can be resolved easily.

If someone is willing to sort out the current software problems, maybe we can organize a virtual small team to solve the problems together. After the problems have been sorted out, it should not take much time to solve the problems.

I have been considering whether to sort out the current problems of this software and make a fork version. But considering that there are so many trivial issues, it has been shelved.
