When recreating my docker containers I lose my images, so I assume you're not storing them in the database, and instead are storing them in local folders somewhere.

If that's accurate, where are they stored in the docker image, so I can map the volume?

Sorry, I found it. Thumbs as well as the sqlite file (if you use it) are stored in the datadir.
