Its just more convenient than going back to old versions-install PKG-move to latest version.

There are no plans to pring back the PKG installer. Most methods for dumping PS4 games don't involve PKGs. If you need help redumping your PS4 games, I'd suggest asking for help in the official shadPS4 Discord server.
