Checklist (we expect you to perform these steps before opening the issue)

  • I have searched for a similar issue in this repository and did not find one.
  • I am using an official build obtained from releases or updated one of those builds using its in-app updater.
  • I have re-dumped the game and performed a clean install without mods and the issue is still present.
  • I have disabled all patches and cheats and the issue is still present.
  • I have all the required system modules installed.

Describe the Bug

So firstly, when playing on the base versions of MC PS4 Edition, the GUI kinda glitches out then crashes whenever you click on play in the main menu.

Secondly, there are 2 major issues with the game. It does have a huge input lag regardless if I don't have any other programs opened, and when exiting the world it causes the game to crash.

Reproduction Steps

How to reproduce these issues:

load up Minecraft: Playstation 4 Edition without any updates, patches, etc. just base game and then as game loaded, you'll have some GUI glitches then once you click the play menu, it freezes.

Load up the 1.95 version, use a keyboard or controller. there's TON of input delay. and go to play - create world, exit the game. and it crashes.

@Hermiten Actually the PR that improved it got almost immediately reverted, as it broke keyboard input

Ehh it still has some really bad input delay where it can still barely be playable. And there's still other issues that I've mentioned that are still present in latest builds such as game crashing when saving a world.

Input lag should now actually be fixed in the latest main.

I'm closing this one because it's an old one with missing modules. Please open a new one if it still revelant and with all the required modules
