Describe the Bug

Using the release version 0.11.0 - all "updates" settings are missing and there is no "check for updates" in help menu

Reproduction Steps

  1. Click "help" menu, or
  2. open settings

Expected Behavior

  1. see "check for updates"
  2. see update settings (eg channel, check on startup etc)

Specify OS Version

Windows 10

CPU

Intel Core i9

GPU

RTX 4080

Amount of RAM in GB

32

This is a known issue, which is already fixed in the nightly builds, and while that didn't retroactively fix the release, it is better than nothing. If you want to use nightly builds, you'll have to get one manually, and from there, you'll be able to follow updates with the autoupdater just fine, as long as you don't revert back to the release.

OK at least I know it isn't something peculiar my end. I'll stick with release for now but look out for a new stable version.
