Describe the Bug
Recently i have started to test Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition without any changes it would fade to a black screen after trying to boot into the title screen. I had to watch a video showing how to bypass it and get in game with further issues but i could atleast run the game from this point on - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qh6lXbUefHc&t=323s]
In the video it seems to be running fine with no issues on shadPS4 however on my end i am getting a slowdown on certain parts generally while playing and while navigating interface title and pause menu also the inputs willl sometimes not register on the controller.
The game will run smoothly on 30FPS then slowdown while on the same amount of FPS, I have attempted it both with the original 1.00 and 1.03 latest patch. There is also a lighting issue in game where it would show white lights instead of the intended colour. I have all the required sys modules, i have attached a few photos game, (see attached log file). My specs are more powerful then a PS4 Pro so i would assume this not to be a hardware problem. This had been tested with 64GB RAM in the past aswell.

Thanks for mentioning my video! Yeah the game seems to lose the controller constantly and that's why when you try to move or shoot it doesn't register most of the time. With keyboard is the same
@cuesta4 commented on GitHub (Nov 29, 2025):
Same problem

Input issues might be fixed in latest main? Please retest and update the issue.
@cuesta4 commented on GitHub (Feb 16, 2026):
Tried testing it, the game no longer boots. Not sure where's the regression, but here's the log.
