Both Fedora and Ubuntu have releases in October so it would be good to start the next s3fs release soon. master has many changes with bug fixes since 1.89:

There are a few open PRs but nothing that should block the release. I can volunteer to do this during the long weekend.

I agree with the release v1.90.
It's been half a year since we launched v1.89, and many bugs have been fixed, so let's release it.
