Keep in mind that the commands we provide to retrieve information are oriented to GNU/Linux Distributions, so you could need to use others if you use s3fs on macOS or BSD

Mounting is successful, but chmod directory error: No such file or directory

I tried in centos 7 and centos 8, both are failed.

Version of s3fs being used (s3fs --version)

s3fs: v1.89
s3: MinIO(RELEASE.2021-04-06T23-11-00Z)

Version of fuse being used (pkg-config --modversion fuse, rpm -qi fuse, dpkg -s fuse)

fuse 2.9.2(centos 7)
fuse 2.9.7(centos 8)

Kernel information (uname -r)

command result: uname -r

3.10.0-1127.19.1.el7.x86_64(centos 7)
4.18.0-240.15.1.el8_3.x86_64(centos 8)

GNU/Linux Distribution, if applicable (cat /etc/os-release)

command result: cat /etc/os-release

s3fs command line used, if applicable

s3fs tests3 tests3/ -ourl=http://10.0.96.3:9000 -opasswd_file=./passwd-s3fs -ouse_path_request_style -oallow_other -omp_umask=000

/etc/fstab entry, if applicable

s3fs syslog messages (grep s3fs /var/log/syslog, journalctl | grep s3fs, or s3fs outputs)

if you execute s3fs with dbglevel, curldbg option, you can get detail debug messages
