Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

AWS S3 lacks the capabilities required to support hard links (multiple references to the same S3 object).

s3fs does support symbolic links which can replace many uses of hard links.
