Keep in mind that the commands we provide to retrieve information are oriented to GNU/Linux Distributions, so you could need to use others if you use s3fs on macOS or BSD
I'm getting a segfault when I try to run s3fs on amazon linux 1 and 2. I've verified that I can access the bucket on the test machine using aws s3.

Details about issue
Running s3fs results in a segfault. strace and valgrind output are attached below and were gathered with the following commands:

I'm sorry, Valgrind didn't give any context. Could you run this again using gdb and get the backtrace when it segfaults? Also it might help to test with master instead of 1.85.
