I have the spec and all stuff to create RPMs for 1.77 at https://github.com/juliogonzalez/s3fs-fuse-rpm (I'm planning to update it to 1.78). In fact the SPEC is inherited from other people (credited at README.md)

Maybe I can help you, so we can merge the SPEC to the official s3fs-fuse repository.
