Describe the bug
I'm not sure what's going on, please see screenshot

To Reproduce

  1. I try to use psst-gui.
  2. I assume it's popping up a login box.
  3. It's just a white box, I can't do anything.

Expected behavior
Presumably a login dialog

Environment

  • OS: NixOS unstable
  • Version: 2025-06-15 (I bumped it locally to make sure this wasn't fixed in the latest release.

(COSMIC, so Wayland, but XWayland available)

Additional context

  • spot seems to work, lets me login, etc.

Seems to be Wayland related. Things "work" "normally" with XWayland if I unset WAYLAND_DISPLAY.

But, Steam is the only application that gets that cursed privilege on my system 😆 .
