Title: Dj Max Portable
Region: KR
Format : CSO
Emu Version : v0.7.6-779-gb8c649b
Game ID : ULKS46050
OS : Windows 8 Pro 64Bits
While playing Dj Max Portable and maybe others there's a bug with fonts at save creation. PSP system menu is displayed and appears squares instead of korean fonts:
Logfile: http://goo.gl/3jnkc
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (May 27, 2013):
Ok I tried last build ppsspp-v0.7.6-871-g78b8c52-windows-x86. Now the fonts appears fine just one is missing:
@aquanull commented on GitHub (May 28, 2013):
@ppmeis So #1911 helped. The missing character (what's it in this case?) may need to be manually added to korean.txt for newer rebuilds of ppge_atlas.zim until a real font solution is worked out.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (May 28, 2013):
I'll try to know which one is...thanks for the support.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (May 29, 2013):
Hi again, here you have a pic from a real PSP, thanks to Cocatriz (a friend):
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Jun 9, 2013):
It seems to be fine right now:

But There are some korean fonts missing on Dj Max Portable 2 (I'll upload a capture soon).
Thanks for your work.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Jun 9, 2013):
Sorry but I think this is not fixed yet, because as I said there's missing fonts in Dj Max Portable 2:

@hrydgard commented on GitHub (Jun 9, 2013):
It's not gonna be fully fixed until we have the whole Korean character set, and we just can't fit it with the current font system. It's pretty low on my list of priorities before the next release, but it will get done one day, I promise :)
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Jun 9, 2013):
Yeah I know that this is a minor issue, but I think is better to have it created here for future fix :D. Thanks for your amazing work!
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Aug 29, 2013):
I know that it's an old and secondary issue, but just to notice that still present on latest build:

@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Sep 8, 2013):
I tried with latest build, bug still present.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Dec 29, 2013):
Tried latest build, same status.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Feb 20, 2014):
Tried latest build. same status:

@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Apr 18, 2014):
Tried latest build. Same status.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (May 12, 2014):
Tried latest build. Same issues.
@hrydgard commented on GitHub (May 12, 2014):
No further work has been done yet on fonts so that's to be expected.
@Bigpet commented on GitHub (May 15, 2014):
Is this actually fixed? If not, you should consider keeping it open.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (May 15, 2014):
It's not fixed, It also happens on other games (I saw a picture on other issue yesterday, but I don't remember which one). But this is a very low issue, does not affect gaming and it will not be fixed in a long time. Maybe one day will be fixed by itself though. Maybe when a most important psp game is affected.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Jan 8, 2015):
Tested with latest build. Issue is present.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Feb 1, 2015):
Tested with latest build. Same status.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Jul 25, 2015):
Tested with latest build. Even with proper PSP fonts it happens.
@unknownbrackets commented on GitHub (Jul 25, 2015):
Yeah, save screens do not actually use the flash0 fonts right now.

@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Dec 6, 2015):
Tested with latest build. Same status.
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Feb 20, 2016):
Tested in latest build. It works fine in Dj Max Portable

Unfortunately, a few fonts are still missing in Dj Max Portable 2:

There's a huge progress. Keep fixing ;).
@unknownbrackets commented on GitHub (Feb 21, 2016):
I think we pulled in more characters recently with an updated learning file. But we can't add many more.

@ppmeis commented on GitHub (May 15, 2016):
Tested with latest build. Some characters are still missed:
@ppmeis commented on GitHub (Nov 27, 2017):
Tested with latest build. Same status:

@Panderner commented on GitHub (Mar 11, 2020):
In locoroco 2 I selected Korean language and there's no Korean characters except Punctuations and numbers:

Even I'm using real PSP Font with kr0.pgf
@hrydgard commented on GitHub (Mar 11, 2020):
That's an unrelated and quite odd bug... (this issue report is about the PSP system dialogs)
