i tried 0.95 81 revison on iphone 4s something worng with star second evoultion on the battle music there missing istrument on it i tried it with headphone its go back normal like real psp. There wierd bug on atrac 3 codec on star ocean second evolution on ppsspp ios has missing istrument on battle some areas on dugeon its go back normal on headphones even did the same on the sound plugin too and just listen music about 19 secs see missing istrument on ios. same is on widowns lag sound alot too fix it like hearing cracking sound too.

Just to be clear, are you saying the sounds are different on the iPhone compared to a PC? Can you try listening to both with the same headphones or etc.?

And does this still happen?

yes alot i tried new version of 0.96 429 for iphone 4s i tried both pc and iphone pc is perfect sound everything no problems just iphone version u get missing istrument in the battle music about 19 secs u hear it i put no frameskip on iphone 4s its fullspeed in the battle i put my head phones music is fix in battle and town and dugeons on iphone its same is pc sound. i think is iphone has differnet sound drivers to pc and andriod.

Well, it could be the speaker or headphones suck. Most desktops have a decent set of speakers and bass hooked up.

If it sounds fine with headphones, not sure what we can do here, aside from trying to add sound profiles like am equalizer (which I think would be outside the scope of an emulator, but to be fair is a feature I think the PSP has. )

Yeah, adding a bass boost filter of some sort is totally doable, it'll just eat some extra CPU and possibly cause a little bit of distortion so it'll be yet another option...

The original issue in star ocean 2 was a problem with envelopes, this is now fixed and music plays correctly.

We still haven't added bass boost filters or EQ though. Anyway, postponing from 1.20.
