Test with 0.9-27 compiling the latest zh_TW.ini update, it seems still has some no translated text and display bug.

Translation with Memory is 記憶體, FullScreen is 全螢幕, these are more suitable in zh_TW. And could put the translation with [Plugin] into zh_TW.ini?

@hrydgard , just wonder any chance the font rebuild can be automated for each single build ? or may be font rebuild is too time-consuming and only done for major release ?

About translation with Plugin I think 音頻 can be changed to 音訊, 信息 can be changed to 資訊, these are better in zh_TW.
Btw 內存 still hasn't be changed to 記憶體

The display with At​​rac in "At​​rac3+音訊插件" seems a little trouble (It shows "At​​??rac"), I copy At​​rac from "Atrac3+ Audio Support" to replace it and the display is fine.
"More Information = 更多信息" this hasn't be changed to 資訊

I think "may stutter" can be translated to 可能產生斷續, it's better.

every time I update the fonts, I will just copy the contents of both zh ini files to chinese.txt, that should be good enough.

I'm gonna add some stuff to the atlas soon so I'll update it then. Don't want to make too many updates of the atlas as they are all stored in the git and I don't want it to get super big. (yes, we really need a better system for this stuff...)

I'm going to work with the zh_CN.ini translation to solve the increasing unknown character in
As I know, I should put the translation at correct position of the ini,
And all characters I used in the ini should be add into "Chinese.txt" so that them can be correct displayed.

Due to the memory usage, i should use fewer different characters in the translation, as few as better.
Is any other information that i forget?

By the way, how can I update the atlas by myself to check the change?

I'm afraid that these translation may be better:
S1 EBOOTs are not supported by PPSSPP. = 不支持由PS1 EBOOTS生成的游戏镜像.
Failed to identify file = 无法识别的文件.
No EBOOT.PBP, misidentified game = 找不到EBOOT.PBP, 无法正确识别游戏.
PPSSPP Chinese Forum = 百度PPSSPP吧
Nearest = 邻近取样
Linear = 线性过滤
Linear on FMV = 在CG中使用线性过滤

The font size with Plugin and RestoreDefaultSettings translation(zh_tw) is too small, and the display with Plugin translation seems has trouble.

In zh_tw "Restore PPSSPP Settings" should be changed to "Restore Default Settings"
And need to supplement the tranlation with [DesktopUI]

It sounds like our current solution is largely working for zh_TW. There hasn't been any feedback here for a while, so I'm going to close.

We might still benefit from moving away from the atlas and using freetype or something to render characters using system fonts. But we have existing issues for those things.
