Summary

Use label colors prominently across the UI

Problem

Labels support names and colors, but the color is only visible in a small dropdown, making labels low-signal and easy to miss.

Proposed Solution

Apply label colors more prominently throughout the UI. Consider optional visual treatments like a colored indicator or banner to make labeled items immediately recognizable.

Additional Context

Would improve scannability and make labels feel more meaningful.

@dbousamra, the current design is intentional to avoid overwhelming the interface. But I am open for advice. Which components are you thinking to tint?

I'll leave you to decide, but I think my general thought is that people want to add colors to signify they are in prod vs staging vs local. A banner, or a subtle tint on the UI to indicate I am in prod (which I would designate as red) would be useful.

Perhaps something like this:
