I tested v15.0 on Win XP 32bit the reg file is not created even though message box indicates it was created successfully. Can anyone reproduce this issue ?

I've added error checking in that part of the code - the Settings app should no longer incorrectly report a success. This will be part of the next release, tentatively named 15.1.
