I installed the add-in on multiple computers. Two of them are using Outlook 2016 and it sometimes happens that Outlook disables the add-in, because it would take too long to start and slow it down. This seams to be a new "feature", which is kind of annoying.
Could the add-in be changed so that this will not happen anymore?
@nertsch commented on GitHub (Mar 15, 2017):
Could you post the Logfile, so that I can figure out, what exactly takes that long?
@niabot commented on GitHub (Mar 15, 2017):
Which Logfile do you mean, and where can i find it?
@aluxnimm commented on GitHub (Mar 15, 2017):
General options. show log but switch log level to debug first and log a startup
@niabot commented on GitHub (Mar 15, 2017):
This is what i got (i truncated older startups):
logc.txt
@aluxnimm commented on GitHub (Mar 16, 2017):
You can control the load behaviour of Outlook addins via registry or GPOs, see
https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/always-load-an-outlook-addin/
@aluxnimm commented on GitHub (Apr 17, 2017):
2.19.0 should avoid slow startup.
