When inviting people to an event created in google calendar (no matter from the webapp, from outlook with the plugin, from phone app, etc...), people receive the invitation to the event and a mail that the same event is cancelled.
Windows 10 - 19042.1288
Outlook Office 365 Version 2109 (build 14430.20270)
CalDav Synchronizer 4.1.0.0
@maxschaf commented on GitHub (Jan 4, 2022):
Same issue here. OutlookCalDavSynchronizer deletes the guests in google event.
I use it in two-way mode. If a guest is added in Google Calendar, it gets deleted after sync in Google Calendar and also isn't visible in Outlook. If I add a participant in Outlook, it is never synced to Google, but stays in Outlook.
My outlook calendar is also a Hotmail/Exchange thing (don't know if this matters here)
@anthonycamilleri commented on GitHub (Mar 21, 2022):
I can confirm that I am having the same problem with
Windows 11
Outlook Office 365 version 2202 (Build 14931.20132)
Caldav Synchronizer 4.2.0.0
As reported for any event that is created in Google Calendar, the people receive a cancellation later. It seems the cancellation is sent out only after someone updates their status.
@gadric commented on GitHub (May 9, 2022):
Same here. really annoying ... anyone has an workaround?
@Upperholme commented on GitHub (Feb 6, 2023):
Is this still an issue or has it been fixed?
@Sunvulle commented on GitHub (Apr 20, 2023):
same problem here, still no solution?
@aluxnimm commented on GitHub (May 2, 2023):
No workaround yet besides disabling syncing of meeting organizer and attendees for google calendar I fear atm. You can do that in the advanced settings of the sync profile in event mapping configuration tab.
