Also having the same issue :(
i have win 10
OnTheSpot version 0.5
@justin025 commented on GitHub (Sep 21, 2024):
Please try 0.6.2 here:
https://github.com/justin025/onthespot/releases/latest
@thethirteenthgay commented on GitHub (Sep 21, 2024):
this version refuses to open at all for me (on Mac, version 11.7.10). Is it broadly compatible or does it rely on a specific operating system?
@justin025 commented on GitHub (Sep 21, 2024):
To be honest I don't own a mac, the dmg there is made and tested in an x86 ventura virtual machine. If you have an m1/m2 mac or an older operating system it may not work.
Another user on high sierra followed step 1.2 here and got it to work fine, you could also follow the build instructions and make a dmg for yourself.
If you have a m1/m2 mac and would like to help me bundle an arm compatible package, or just need help following the steps listed, open an issue on my repo.
@RandomAfrican18 commented on GitHub (Sep 23, 2024):
Still no Solution ?

@justin025 thank you for solving this, with your latest release I can log into my account and transfer the songs!
Thank you :)
@adimixer commented on GitHub (Oct 14, 2024):
same here, it worked a few weeks ago and now suddenly error on the added account, but when I removed the account and added it again it showed the same error as julerobb1
Can anybody help with that, please?
@MonkeyDLuffy-Gang commented on GitHub (Nov 13, 2024):
Because it's fake. You are seeing this message bc after u enter your login info it steals them and displays that message. Remove this app, run an antivirus scan afterward
@justin025 commented on GitHub (Nov 17, 2024):
The app isn't fake and does not steal your login (you can check the code yourself), scan the exe on https://virustotal.com. Microsoft defender has marked the exe as a virus because the dev did not pay them to register the app
The old login method is depreciated which is why it is not working
@titusgroen commented on GitHub (Jan 30, 2025):
Whats the point of obfuscating the email in some messages in the log but then having it written in clear on the final error?
@justin025 commented on GitHub (Jan 30, 2025):
