Hi,

I assume you live in germany,
so I want to suggest you to read
http://idienstler.de/3052/neue-regelungen-fuers-impressum-separate-seite-fuer-datenschutzerklaerung-erforderlich/
because I found "Datenschutzerklärung" and "Impressum" on the same page
https://nsupdate.info/legal/

I find your project interesting.
How about the hardware would this also run on a raspberry pi?
Processor/Memory.

Regards

Thanks for your hint about the new requirements for german legalese, I'll fix this ASAP on our site.

Note: this is unrelated to the software project, there is no legalese contained in the project.

But: the site administrator has to customize and locally deploy it (as required by applicable law).

About your raspberry pi question:

nsupdate.info project offers server-side software (requiring enough power to run django/python/webserver + you also need a separate DNS software like bind9) - thus running this on a raspberry pi would be rather unusual.

But, if you run a r.pi at home as a small "home server" (using an internet connection with dynamic ip), you usually do not need to install the nsupdate.info service, but rather a dyndns2 client like ddclient (and that should work on a r.pi) that talks to any already existing dyndns2 compatible service on the internet (including the nsupdate.info site).

hmm, there was legalese in the project, but i removed it now. we don't want to deal with that mess in the software project, everybody running a service has to solve legal requirements that locally.
