Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

We are looking for a way to manage all functions using a CLI so we can automate it with IaC/CaC.
Any chance we can do this already? And if we can't, is there anything that we could try to accomplish this?
