Hi there,
Thank you for this great tool!
In my setup, I have Nginx installed outside of docker. Can I use the proxy manager to configure that?
Many thanks,
Radu D

What do you want to achieve?
It is easily possible to configure the proxy manager to serve your nginx. Just specify a new proxy host entry with your domain and the IP address as well as the port of your standalone nginx server.
If you want to replace the internal (embedded) nginx server of nginx proxy manager ... why would you want to do this? Not natively possible.
@radud commented on GitHub (Mar 30, 2021):
I want to have Nginx out of the docker container. All other applications will run inside docker.
Is this achievable?
@Lombra commented on GitHub (Apr 1, 2021):
For my case I would like it in order to be able to take down the container for maintenance/upgrading without taking down the whole proxy server.

To add to what Lombra said:
I have an NGINX running which already takes care of everything I need. Linuxserver.io SWAG
I would like to use the NGINX Proxy Manager for managing configs of said NGINX without having to need to SSH into the server.
