Have you checked if a certbot plugin exists?
Yes!
A plugin exists: pip package, GitHub repo

Note:
There is an existing issue (#782) for this, but it's old, doesn't use the current template, and the labels are no longer correct. I don't think it's monitored by anyone anymore so I figured I'd just make a new one, in hopes that the now-existing certbot plugin for domeneshop can be implemented. 😃
