+1 for this feature. Maybe a "simple" export capability?

And for those coming here because they want to move the data to a new machine, https://github.com/jc21/nginx-proxy-manager/issues/90#issuecomment-822212289 will help you.

It would be nice, if the Import of normal Nginx Configurations gets Considered. It would be nice for me (and maybe many others) to Migrate/Import your old "normal" Nginx Configs with the push of a button in the Web-GUI.

This is really a feature we look forward to see to help us in migration between different docker hosts

How are you guys backing up npm right now? I am trying with Duplicati but I am not being able to access some folders due to permission issues inside the container

Greetings,

Any update on this on when it's will be possible to export/import from the GUI for migration purpose when moving from server to another, especially when servers are running on different database type.

This will most likely not be implemented in v2, as the current focus is on v3. But I have made a detailed writeup on how to export / import / migrate in https://github.com/jc21/nginx-proxy-manager/discussions/1529

I am tired of losing my proxy list config and creating a small script that is able to move one configuration to another host and save it to a file. This is very limited ( It loose certificates info) but fits 80% of my needs, maybe for someone also would be helpful

Nice, but how do we run this script?

I generated tokens from my username & pwd

python3 ./transfernew.py --source "http://192.168.1.5:81" --source_auth "mytoken1" --dest "http://192.168.1.2:81" --dest_auth "Bearer mytoken2"

But it's giving a error:

domain_names = host["domain_names"]
                   ~~~~^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
TypeError: string indices must be integers, not 'str'
Considering the number of "thumbs up", this is a much needed feature. Let's keep it open.
Would love to have this feature. It's been in this list for almost 6 years - not sure if it's something difficult to implement. But hoping it's something doable.
