I'm also seeing this.
I think there's an expired certificate somewhere but I need to track it down and debug further.
@chuckliu1979 commented on GitHub (May 26, 2025):
My self-hosting builds bootloaders also encounter such issue. how can i fix it ?
@user27015 commented on GitHub (Jul 30, 2025):
I am also experiencing this. Is there a workaround or alternative?
@mikeodr commented on GitHub (Jul 30, 2025):
I ended up finding that I was using a linuxserver.io container image that isn't updated anymore.
I switched to the
ghcr.io/netbootxyz/netbootxyzimage and it has up to date CA info.@popy2k14 commented on GitHub (Dec 7, 2025):
I have the same issue in unraid.
Tried the ghcr.io/netbootxyz/netbootxyz which basically like the official one from dockerhub.
It also does not work and the "permission denied" issue comes up.
It seems the certificates are not up to date.
Also tried with menues: 2.0.88, 2.0.89 and current development menues no one is working.
Any hints how i can overcome this error?
@whc2001 commented on GitHub (Jan 19, 2026):
Same here, none of the menu options work for me and only gives
