This feature request is not related to a problem.

I am wondering how much trouble it would be to add all or some of the following ISO images:

  1. pfSense Community Edition
  2. OpenMediaVault
  3. TrueNAS SCALE

I do not use OPNsense or TrueNAS CORE, but I suppose seeing them added would be nice too.

Thanks in advance!

Stuart

Having support for truenas would be nice for spinning up a secondary nas or when you inevitably have to reinstall as something went wrong with your nas (SSD or motherboard failure etc.)

I would imagine that TrueNAS SCALE (being Linux based) would be doable even if the TrueNAS Core would be problematic.

The BSD based ones won't work for now until someone comes up with better support for networking booting them with iPXE. I've tried getting TrueNAS Scale working before, but I believe they are missing Debian Live from the build which prevents it from having netboot capabilities.
