Describe the bug

I run on a machine the PXE loader, i find the dhcp server, i see the menu and i can navigate through it. I choose Live Kali to run, it starts all the download an running of the files but when it should enter in the OS screen.....NOTHING! Black screen. I was thinking maybe it doesn't run on 4k displays over hdmi? I really cannot figure why is doing this. For example on Utilities the RESCUEZILLA runs and works fine, i can see the livelinux with the 3-4 programs pre-installed. But whatever LIVE CD i choos it doesn't show the OS when booted in it, why can it be?

What hardware do you have in your machine? For example, it could be caused by missing drivers for e.g. NVIDIA cards.

Just in case this is somehow relevant your situation, I was seeing the same black screen for any Live CDs until I changed the display settings for the Proxmox VM I was using to test PXE boot from Default/SVGA to SPICE.

Same issue using nvidia rtx 2080 super and a LG tv as display. Seems the resolution change is not handled correctly when switching to a graphical interface. Some distros stay black others show as no signal. But he cli only k3OS works.
