Describe the bug
Sometimes, the fanspeed gets stuck at 100%, If I change it, it jumps right back up to 100% after a couple seconds. This happens even with the fan control disabled.
I have an HP 8770W, upgraded with a 980m, using the 8760W profile. I don't get the bug on Windows Vista for some reason.

To Reproduce
Grab quad core 8770W, put GPU with similar TDP to 980m inside, Install Windows 7 and program. Set program to read only, and play a game even as basic as the old Source games like TF2, GMOD, or even HL2.

Expected behavior
I set the system to automatically regulate the fan speed, which usually works fine, but I find the fans get a bit too loud at times. I go to the fan control, and should be able to cap it at 70%, which works just fine under Vista.

System information

  • Windows 7
  • NBFC 1.6.3
  • The log files are kinda odd, it's just this repeated anywhere from every day to every other day.

Additional context
Don't know what else to put, other than I might test Windows 8 soon.
